Mr. Jamal is a well-known businessperson in Tanzania. He has been the Chairman of Alliance Insurance Corporation Limited since 1999.

His various other positions include Chairman of Union Trust Investments (UTI) and New Arusha Hotel.

He is also a Director at Exim Bank (Tanzania) Limited, Exim Advisory Services and Nyanza Mining.

Mr. Manek is the Executive Chairman of MAC Group Companies. He is the Chairman of The Heritage Insurance Company Tanzania Ltd, Exim Bank (Tanzania) Ltd, Strategis Insurance (Tanzania) Ltd, Exim “Advisory Services and Chemi & Cotex Industries Ltd.

He also sits on the Board of Alliance Insurance Corporation Limited.

Mr. Vinoo Somaiya is a Tax Consultant, Investment Consultant by profession and has provided consultancy on Tax and Business Development matters to several clients. He has also served as an arbitrator on an assignment in the insurance sector.

In his earlier role with PwC, he was responsible for providing tax compliance, transactions advisory and regulatory compliance guidance to significant operator in the financial services, agricultural, mining and industrial sectors.

He has also been the Chairman of PwC Africa Firm's Governance Board.

Mr. Vinoo is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Fellow member of the Tanzanian Association of Accountants and registered with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors as an Authorized Auditor.

Mr. Pulin Manek joined the Alliance Life Assurance Ltd Board in June 2019. He is a dynamic leader who brings a wealth of experience involving strategic planning vision and direction, products development and new markets development. Mr. Pulin Manek has an extensive international exposure with his educational background and leadership experiences across from India, Canada, Dubai and Tanzania.

Along with his competencies in operations management, he brings with him, a solid know how of the FMCG and retail market in Tanzania. He is at present, a Partner of Akasaki Middle East LLC in Dubal, and a Director of Dar Spice Centre Ltd. here in Dar es Salaam.

Mr. Pulin Manek is well-rounded in extracurricular activities as well he is a PADI certified Open Water Diver and was the Chairperson of the 35th Lohana Sports and Cultural Festival East Africa.

Mr. Mohamed Kassongo is an entrepreneur with many years of experience. Having held leadership positions in USA, Canada and now Tanzania. He has vast experience in Financial Services, specifically in Mobile Money, Payments and Microfinance.

Mr. Mohamed, is also a Director of Daraja Foods. A company that operates in East Africa that aggregates supply from Small Holder Farmers to processes and exports to various countries in East Africa.

Mr. Mohamed Kassongo has a degree from the University of Evansville, in Indiana, USA.
