Mr. Byford Mutimusakwa
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Byford joined the Alliance Life Assurance Ltd team in 2016. He has over 35 years of experience in Life insurance. Byford has worked in insurance sectors of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ACIS),  He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (UK) and holds a Certificate (CII) in insurance and MBA degree.
Ahamad

Mr. Ahamad Mussa Luoga
CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

Ahamad joined Aliance Life Assurance Ltd in March 2017. He has requisite experience in ‘Accounting and Tax’ matters for over 12 years. He has worked with various companies at different positions before joining the Alliance Life Team.

Ahamad is a Certified Public Accountant registered with NBAA and holds an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM)
Josephine

Josephine Mfikwa
SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

Josephine joined the company in July 2019 as Sales and Marketing Manager. She has over 11 years of experience in the Insurance industry and have been in leadership roles as head of Sales and Underwriting for over 8 years. She has sound knowledge of all insurance products and has experience of leading all forms of distribution for an insurance Company and driving top-line growth profitability.

Josephine holds a Masters in Business Administration. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (UK). She has acquired a Bachelor degree in Commerce from the University of Dares salaam, and she is a CPA holder.

Her specialist skills lie in Sales and Marketing, underwriting, accounting, product development and distribution of all insurance products having worked in the Insurance Industry with the largest Insurance companies in East Africa and Africa in general.

Smaa Issa
ASST. TECHNICAL MANAGER

Smaa is Assistant Technical Manager at Alliance Life Assurance Ltd and is responsible for the Operations department. Smaa has 7 years experience in Life insurance operations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Dar es Salaam.

Furthermore, she is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and holds a Certificate in Insurance from the London School of Insurance.

Nausheen Alibhai
HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMIN OFFICER

Nausheen Alibhai joined Allance Life Team in September 2017 as a Sales and Admin Officer and has grown in the company through her contributions. She has successfully managed to setup the Human Resources Department and played a significant role in establishing the HR Management Committee of the Board.

Nausheen currently heads the Human Resources Department and oversees the dally
administration of the company. She acquired her academic qualifications from the Univesity of Cape Town in South Africa and brings with her a valuable experience from her diverse interactions.
